Key Responsibilities
- Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met with excellence.
- Site Engagement: Attend client site visits and conduct thorough site surveys to assess requirements.
- Job Pack Oversight: Review and prepare job packs for the next day, ensuring all Traffic Management (TM) plans are in place.
- Resource Coordination: Monitor client programs and collaborate with Depot Managers to ensure resource availability.
- Meeting Leadership: Lead program meetings, addressing potential requirements and updates.
- Quality Supervision: Oversee operatives and subcontractors to maintain high standards of work on-site.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and follow up on any missing documents.
- Site Audits: Conduct monthly site audits for operatives, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
- 24/7 Support: Ensure a reliable call-out service is available and manage handovers to night and weekend supervisors.
- Team Briefs: Deliver compliance briefs and contribute to monthly team updates.
- Staff Recruitment: Collaborate with regional and depot managers to recruit and train staff effectively.
- Operational Updates: Lead weekly operations meetings with updates on client works.
- Client Support: Address site queries and assist TM operatives with any issues.
- CAD Collaboration: Work with the CAD team to verify drawings and support client requests.
- Kit Management: Liaise with depot operatives and managers regarding equipment needs.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors for seamless project execution.
- Out of Hours Support: Provide assistance as a Duty Manager/Supervisor on a rota basis.
- Night Shift Handover: Organise daily handovers to the night shift, ensuring smooth operations.
Experience and Qualifications
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Record Keeping: Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records of work undertaken.
- Tool Proficiency: Competence in using all necessary work tools.
- Initiative: Willingness to propose new ideas and solve problems independently.
- Relationship Management: Strong communication skills to handle issues calmly and effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Traffic Management Experience: Previous experience in traffic management is essential, along with a 12D qualification.
