Lorien, a UK leading Life and Pensions client, is currently seeking a highly skilled Trading Technology Delivery Lead to join their team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Trading Technology Team supporting both Capital Markets and PIO solutions. Collaborate with sponsors, key stakeholders, AM COO, and other technology teams to meet business needs and ensure seamless integration into BAU.
2. Build and manage the capabilities of the Trading Technology Delivery Team. Partner with Front Office, COO Heads, and key members of the Technology, Transformation, and Data teams to deliver business outcomes within the trading ecosystem.
3. Actively contribute to the development of structure, capability, talent, and practices within the Transformation, Technology, and Data Teams.
4. Establish a strong network with the AM COO team to ensure initiatives are transitioned from Change to BAU with appropriate controls and governance.

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience in a technology role within Asset Management or Financial Services, with direct exposure to Trading & Portfolio Management, Data, and Risk solutions.
• Strong understanding of Front Office functions, including Trading and Portfolio Management.
• Experience with Trade Order Management systems (Aladdin experience is highly beneficial). Strong understanding of integration with quant tooling and data architectures.
• Knowledge of Capital Market products (including derivatives) and the full trade lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience across multiple subject areas or within large, complex subjects.
• Experience with modern ways of working (e.g., Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, Test Automation).
• Confidence in engaging with people at all organizational levels, including partners and clients.
• Proficiency in issue management, prioritization, and providing pragmatic direction aligned with long-term capital markets strategies.
• Resilience, flexibility, and adaptability to changing schedules and priorities.
