Job summary

X4 Technology in London is seeking a contract Full Stack Developer to join their Trading technology team. The role involves designing, developing and delivering scalable full-stack applications, APIs, microservices and integrations across the trading landscape.

You will leverage Azure and Databricks to build robust, high-performing solutions with a focus on scalability, reliability and performance. The position supports a hybrid working pattern with 3 days on site.

Qualifications

• Experience building REST APIs/ GraphQL, microservices and integrations.
• Strong Azure experience with SQL/database knowledge; exposure to Databricks a plus.
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins; Docker/Kubernetes beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver scalable full-stack applications, APIs, microservices and integrations across the Trading landscape.
• Leverage Azure and Databricks to build robust, high-performing solutions with focus on scalability, reliability and performance.
• Contribute to technical architecture, solution design and reusable engineering patterns with high coding standards.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, monitoring and performance optimisation for production readiness.
• Partner with Product Owners, Designers and engineering teams, contributing to Agile delivery and technical decisions.
