Job summary

Gent Commodity is seeking a proactive candidate to join London-based trading support. The role involves placing trades as directed by traders and the trading manager, and providing timely feedback on positions.

You will gather data with traders, maintain equity accounting, and monitor position risks while adhering to regulations. The successful candidate will complete in-person training at our Hangzhou office for six months, after which the role will be located in London on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Hold a full-time undergraduate degree or higher.
• Fluent in English and Chinese to liaise with stakeholders in China.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, coordination and ethics.
• Robust understanding of risk management and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Place trades as directed by traders/trading manager and provide prompt feedback on their position.
• Collaborate with traders to gather, analyse, and compile relevant data.
• Maintain accurate equity accounting for each trading account and monitor risks.
• Adhere to regulations and mitigate operational risks.
• Ensure timely delivery of news, fills and position details to traders and work with operations on projects across multiple fields.
