Job summary

The London Metal Exchange (LME) and LME Clear are HKEX Group companies. The role provides first-line supervision for all trading on the Ring and LMEselect, participates in pricing decisions, and enforces conduct and regulations.

You will learn LME processes and interact with multiple stakeholders across London venues. Ideal candidates have deep knowledge of electronic trading, strong numerical skills, and four years in a trading environment, with a focus on price discovery and regulatory

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent with C or above in maths and English.
• Probationary dealers exam as applicable.
• Four years trading environment experience.
• Knowledge of electronic trading and benchmarks responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the LME reference prices are determined to meet commercial and regulatory requirements.
• Participate on the Ring Pricing Committee for Official and Closing Prices.
• Enforce Ring Dealing Regulations and Code of Conduct as a Ring Disciplinary Committee member.
• Establish Settlement Prices on LMEselect for Ferrous Prices and new product launches.
• Manage the Error Trade Policy and Dynamic Price Bands on LMEselect with updated documentation.
• Determine Closing Prices for Traded Options using LMEprism with all activity references.
• Ensure Benchmark Regulation Compliance as Benchmark Administrator.
