Job summary

Utc is recruiting a Trading Operations Specialist in the United Kingdom to support the trading desk with IT operations, risk controls, and back-office processes in a financial trading environment.

You will conduct routine inspections of equipment and trading robots, monitor deposits/withdrawals, and ensure compliance with security and confidentiality standards. A IT-related degree and MS Office skills are required, with ability to work nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; finance background welcomed.
• Basics of IT hardware/software and networks; troubleshoot common issues.
• Experience in IT operations or finance support preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong data/document management.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and trading robots; log results.
• Execute risk controls, settle deposits/withdrawals, and reconcile trades.
• Adjust trading parameters and verify effectiveness with records.
• Support trading desk with information, data consolidation, and basic risk.
• Report incidents promptly and participate in post-incident reviews.
