Job summary

Sainsbury’s Nottingham is seeking a Trading Assistant to keep shelves stocked and welcoming for customers. You’ll collect stock from the warehouse, replenish items, date-check fresh produce, and help across the store, including deliveries when needed.

Night shifts come with a premium and you’ll build skills while delivering great service. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, physical environment, be flexible to work across the store, and develop product knowledge to assist shoppers with questions and

Job description

What you’ll be doing:

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish a variety of items across the store, keeping our shelves clean, tidy and full of well-presented products
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly when the store is open, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
