Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Penrith is hiring a Trading Assistant on a fixed-term assignment. The role is part time at 18.45 hours per week, with a rate of £13.23 per hour at the Penrith Store, CA11 7FG.

You’ll stock shelves, help customers, check dates on fresh produce, and support with deliveries. Our stores are fast-paced and customer-focused, offering great benefits and opportunities to learn about products and promotions.

Qualifications

• If the shifts for this role cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish items across the store, keeping our shelves tidy and full of well-presented products
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required
