Job summary

Eleven is seeking a Trading Analyst in London to support sustainability operations within the biofuels trading team. You will manage mass-balance accounting, certification, audits and feedstock traceability while delivering analytical and commercial support to the broader trading desk.

The role requires experience in sustainability, biofuels, and commodities, with a strong grasp of certification and feedstock regulations and excellent stakeholder management. A quantitative degree is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in sustainability, biofuels, renewable fuels, or related commodities.
• Strong understanding of sustainability certification, traceability, and renewable fuel regulations.
• Strong stakeholder management with suppliers, customers and internal teams.
• Degree in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Manage sustainability mass-balance activities across the biofuels supply chain.
• Maintain sustainability documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and certification requirements.
• Support the optimisation and management of certified sustainable products and feedstock balances.
• Work with suppliers, counterparties and certification bodies to ensure feedstock traceability.
• Coordinate sustainability certifications and support audit processes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support new compliance requirements.
• Contribute to sustainability, digitalisation and traceability projects.
• Provide market analysis, reporting and ad hoc commercial analysis to support trading activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, IT or another quantitative discipline.
