Job summary

easyJet holidays in Luton is seeking a Trading Analyst on a 9‑month fixed-term contract. You will monitor sales trends and external market data, turning analysis into pricing and trading initiatives to improve revenue per seat.

We’re looking for someone with strong numerical and storytelling skills, proficient with Excel and ideally SQL. You’ll join the Revenue Management & Trading team in a hybrid environment, with 60% in the office each month.

We support hybrid working, and you’ll spend 60% of your time each month in the office.

This is a 9 month fixed term contract.

You turn complex trading data into clear commercial decisions that improve performance.

Curious, commercially minded and confident with numbers, you know that the best analysis leads to action. You’ll spot what is changing, explain why it matters and help teams respond quickly.

The opportunity

Join our Trading Team and help shape pricing and trading decisions across one of easyJet’s geographical regions.

Reporting to a Lead Trading Manager, you’ll monitor sales trends and the external market, then turn your analysis into initiatives that improve revenue per seat, close revenue gaps and identify risks and opportunities.

You’ll be part of the Revenue Management & Trading Team, working with colleagues across Commercial and partnering with teams including Marketing, PR, Digital and Data Science.

It’s a fast paced environment where priorities can change quickly. You’ll be supported by people who share ideas, tackle problems together and want your analysis to have a practical commercial impact.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll monitor sales performance and external market trends, highlighting emerging risks, opportunities and revenue gaps for your region.

You’ll analyse trading needs, including performance around notable events and peak periods, and recommend pricing changes that support financial targets.

You’ll provide focused analysis for partner teams and support projects with central revenue management colleagues, translating findings into clear actions.

Requirements of the Role

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring strong analytical skills and the commercial awareness to turn data into decisions. Experience with Excel is important, and SQL or a similar programming language would be useful.

You’ll understand pricing and revenue management, modelling or analysis, whether gained in aviation, travel, another commercial setting or through an analytical or numerical degree.

You’ll communicate clearly, build effective relationships and influence across teams. You’ll also be self motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and ready to solve problems in a changing environment.
