Trading Business Analyst - 24 Month FTC

JDRoss is supporting a global business in their search for a Business Analyst. This is an opportunity to join a growing, well-established company with over 20 years of history.

Reporting to the Head of Risk Transformation, the role involves identifying, analyzing, and documenting risk requirements that align with transformation objectives, supported by the company's broader architecture and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Gather detailed user requirement specifications by analyzing existing business processes and reporting capabilities outlined in high-level Risk work packages.
  • Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and compliance with business standards.
  • Recommend solutions and technologies to meet transformation needs within project timelines for the Risk Group.
  • Implement solutions for quick wins using standard templates, establishing a scalable platform for strategic solutions within realistic timeframes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to review and prioritize requirements as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to plan business readiness for process changes and new platform implementations, including testing and user acceptance testing.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject or equivalent work experience in computer science.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Business Analyst role, with exposure to ETRM processes.
  • Technical understanding of data-centric solutions using Power BI, Python, Azure, and SQL.
  • ETRM expertise with knowledge of deal lifecycle and risk management processes.
