Job description

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Tradesperson to join our Facilities team!

Key Responsibilities
  1. The Tradesperson (Electrical) will be responsible for carrying out minor installations, maintenance, and reactive repairs on the electrical infrastructure and services across the estate.
  2. You may be expected to work a flexible working week outside of the agreed shift pattern, including early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekend work, depending on the needs of the business. You will also be included in the out-of-hours call-out rota within the trades team.
  3. Work independently or as part of the wider Estates team, demonstrating strong communication and customer care skills, providing professional and friendly support, using discretion, tact, diplomacy, and attention to detail.

About Estates and Property Services: The Estates & Facilities Services Directorate manages property maintenance, planned maintenance, renovation, cleaning, security, and space facilitation for staff and students across the University.
