An established industry player is seeking a skilled carpenter to join their team, focusing on a wide range of carpentry and multi-trade tasks. Salary: £35,235 - £37,938 a year plus £78 washing allowance and £680.71 tool allowance a year

Our department is looking for someone capable of completing a comprehensive range of carpentry and multi-trade work, including kitchen and bathroom installations, site surveys, and providing material lists for repairs and refurbishment projects within contract conditions, timescales, and costs.
You will be expected to carry out a variety of carpentry repairs, UPVC repairs, and multi-trade refurbishment work across sectors such as domestic properties, high-rise schools, shops, and industrial units. Responsibilities include diagnosing repairs or maintenance needs, complying with safety assessments and method statements, and planning workloads to meet contract deadlines and budgets. The role also involves project work like kitchen/bathroom installations, flooring, tiling, and minor demolition work.

We seek someone who can plan and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, assess and resolve on-site problems—such as fault diagnosis, material requirements, and safety assessments—and use initiative within established procedures. You should have an advanced carpentry apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 or a basic carpentry apprenticeship with NVQ Level 2/City & Guilds qualification or equivalent experience.
You must be able to carry and climb ladders for inspections and access lofts and roofs, and be willing to travel between sites with equipment. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential as this is a public-facing role.
