Job Description:

An established multi-billion AUM hedge fund is seeking to hire a Trade Assistant with extensive experience in Rates. This newly created position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join an elite team supporting the front office. The role involves detailed analysis of trading activity to ensure precise alignment with internal risk metrics and to assist in the timely delivery of daily P&L projections

Applicants will need to have at least a 2:1 degree (Ideally a STEM subject) from a Russell Group university or international equivalent, along with strong A-level results. A minimum of five years’ experience in a Rates Trade Assistant role—either on the buy side or sell side—is required. We would also look at applicants from a Trade Support background should they have strong front office support experience, should the education and product knowledge be there.

Deep subject matter expertise in Rates is essential, and coding skills are considered a strong advantage.

Total compensation is approximately £150k, complemented by a highly competitive benefits package. Given the high-performance culture of the firm, this role will require full-time presence in the office, five days a week.
