3x TradePoint Sales and Performance Manager

£65,000 - £75,000 + Pension + BUPA + ShareSave + 6.6 weeks holiday + Field based working

Role Purpose: As an experienced sales coach, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through our TradePoint sales partners. Your primary focus will be on coaching and developing a high-performing team of sales partners, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including UM’s, RM’s, and DOF’s, you will align efforts to deliver impactful outcomes. Effectively managing performance and unlocking potential, you will ensure your sales targets are achieved, driving sustained success for B&Q.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the delivery of up to 33 sales partners' budgeted sales performance.
  • Work with key stakeholders (RM & UM) to review performance using your experience and market knowledge to support underperformance and reduce variability.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team, celebrating successes.
  • Provide regular information on TSP performance that includes your actions to deliver further profitable growth.
  • Ensure your team has a thorough understanding of the products and services we provide, building trusted relationships quickly, removing sales blockers, and exceeding customers’ expectations.
  • Develop a robust succession pipeline and support individuals’ aspirations through effective career conversations and personal development.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop the TSP role that includes remuneration principles, learning materials, and operational support.
  • Gather insights and feedback from the field that can influence the TradePoint strategy and connect SSO and the Pro centre of excellence to our TSPs.
