Job summary

As a Trade & Working Capital Sales Head - Payments - Executive Director, you will promote profitable growth of portfolios including UK Technology, Media, Telecommunications (TMT), Diversified Industrials (DI), eCommerce, Fintech, Innovation Economy, Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI), and Public Sector (PS). You will provide Structured & Core Trade solutions to large & mid-cap clients, supporting their local, outbound, and inbound requirements.

Job responsibilities

  • Own the TWC P&L across products and lead the sales team to achieve new business goals, including the annual sales plan at target margins.
  • Originate and structure new opportunities with clients across Trade solutions, handling transactions of $5 million+ annually.
  • Collaborate with Payments teams and coverage bankers to promote the sales strategy, expand market share, and increase wallet share with targeted clients.
  • Develop financial and working capital analyses to formulate proposals for new business.
  • Drive strategic account planning, focusing on credit capital use and balancing client needs with firm-wide priorities.
  • Develop and evolve complex products and solutions through partnerships with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the entire sales process, onboarding, and implementation for new local clients.
  • Address business issues such as risk, legal, and compliance, coordinating with regulators for client agendas and audits.
  • Build and maintain firm-wide relationships and represent T&WC externally at industry forums and events.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven senior sales management experience in Trade, Transaction Banking, and managing complex client relationships and teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant MNCs, Mid-Cap, & Large Corporate clients.
  • Deep understanding of Trade and banking products/solutions and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to manage client risk dynamics and work with regulators and internal partners to balance risk and reward.
  • Established network and experience with Local and Multinational corporate clients.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
