Trade Warehouse Worker

Duties and Responsibilities

• The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of all daily operations within the warehouse. Key duties include booking goods in and out, ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded, and that products are handled and stored correctly to maintain quality. The role involves working closely with customers and suppliers, keeping them informed about deliveries, returns, and any issues that may arise.
• A hands-on approach is essential, including the operation of forklifts, loading/unloading vehicles, and making local deliveries when needed.
• You'll also be responsible for stock levels, carrying out regular checks, and ensuring goods are always where they should be. Liaising with suppliers and head office is part of the job, as is responding quickly to problems and keeping things moving.
• This is a busy, varied role suited to someone reliable, organised, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.

Experience and Qualifications

• Forklift License
• Clean Driving License
• Good standard of maths and English
• Minimum 5 years warehouse experience
• Experience in the building trade desirable
