Role Responsibilities- You will be responsible for monitoring and analysing trading activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conducting trade surveillance across global derivatives markets
- Reviewing electronic communications and analysing their content
- Investigations of alerts
- Implementing enhancements to surveillance tools
- Ensuring adherence to internal controls.
Role Requirements- Working knowledge of crude oil, refined products, and/or renewables trading and market dynamics.
- Experience supporting a trading function, with exposure to front and mid-office activities.
- Experience using trade surveillance tools such as Nasdaq Trade Surveillance (NTS).
- Familiarity with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems like Allegro, Right Angle, or similar.
- Knowledge and understanding of global commodity trading regulations, including UK Financial Services and Markets Act, MiFID, and Dodd-Frank.
- Experience using Microsoft PowerBI to create reports and dashboards.
