Role Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for monitoring and analysing trading activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conducting trade surveillance across global derivatives markets
• Reviewing electronic communications and analysing their content
• Investigations of alerts
• Implementing enhancements to surveillance tools
• Ensuring adherence to internal controls.

Role Requirements

• Working knowledge of crude oil, refined products, and/or renewables trading and market dynamics.
• Experience supporting a trading function, with exposure to front and mid-office activities.
• Experience using trade surveillance tools such as Nasdaq Trade Surveillance (NTS).
• Familiarity with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems like Allegro, Right Angle, or similar.
• Knowledge and understanding of global commodity trading regulations, including UK Financial Services and Markets Act, MiFID, and Dodd-Frank.
• Experience using Microsoft PowerBI to create reports and dashboards.
