Vmoves are looking for individuals with a can-do attitude, patience, an eye for detail, and a true understanding of customer service.

We require Inspector Drivers to appraise a variety of vehicles and deliver them across the UK.

Inspection experience is an advantage but not necessary as full training is offered.

Vmoves is a family business with family values. We treat our drivers and office team fairly and respectfully. Our philosophy is to pay good rates in exchange for all members accepting ownership for their part in making each vehicle inspection and delivery successful. Good teamwork and considerate behavior are the cornerstones of our success.

There will always be good and bad days, but you will receive full support from our experienced office team, many of whom have done the job themselves. We strive to achieve a good work-life balance for drivers and office staff alike.

You can expect daily payments ranging between £80 - £120, depending on license, region, and the number of vehicles inspected and delivered per day. We also pay up to £50 for overnight fees.

This self-employed position allows you to be your own boss and choose your working days.

Vmoves also inspects, collects, and delivers HGVs nationwide. If you are looking to upgrade your license, Vmoves has successfully financed and upgraded reliable self-employed contractors to the HGV division.

Starting from home, you will:

1. Make independent travel arrangements to inspection points
2. Be ready to help and service customers, prepared to stay overnight if needed

Upon arriving at the customer location, you will:

1. Inspect vehicles thoroughly, possibly inspecting a batch of vehicles
2. Record vehicle condition and image damages using a smartphone (provided)
3. Be friendly, professional, and assist customers with questions
4. Ensure customer satisfaction and have them sign the inspection report on the smartphone
5. Drive the vehicle safely to its destination

At the end of the day:

1. Depending on the plan, take your vehicle home or stay overnight near the next inspection site
2. Discuss your day with our planner and support team to prepare for the next day

• A valid driver CPC and Digi-tacho card (for 7.5T work)
