Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Trade Planning Specialist to architect promotional plans across key categories. You’ll translate data into store-ready briefs, plan feature spaces, and coordinate with Commercial, Marketing and Retail Operations to deliver first-time-right promotions.

Based at our Head Office in the UK, you’ll own trade plans, use insights (Kantar) to challenge the status quo, and present to senior stakeholders. The role combines fast-paced retail thinking with strong data storytelling.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate numbers into a compelling story for stakeholders.
• Juggle multiple deadlines ensuring accuracy on first pass.
• Solid understanding of retail promotions and policy constraints (GSCOP).

Responsibilities

• Own the trade plan for key categories and feature spaces to maximise sales.
• Lead planning for shippers and newness to drive seasonal performance.
• Act as the link between Commercial, Marketing and Retail Operations to ensure promotions are first-time right.
• Prepare briefs and present data to senior stakeholders to shape the ambient business.
