Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of health and safety legislation is crucial.
  • A valid UK driving license is mandatory.

Job description

The role of Trade Operative - Plasterer will include:

  • Carrying out all aspects of plastering and mould washing
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocked when needed
  • Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery by resolving problems or initiating resolution processes, keeping customers informed
  • Providing accurate and timely updates on work progress that are easily understood by customers
  • Participating in an out-of-hours call rota

Skills and experience:

  • Candidates must be qualified to NVQ/SVQ Level 2 in the core subject; NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Plumbing if plumbing is core; Unvented - G3 Certificate; Water Regulations (WRAS); or be currently undertaking these qualifications. Original certification proof must be brought to the interview. Copies and CSCS cards are not accepted.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Good communication and customer care skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize workloads
  • This role involves driving; a valid UK driving license is required for company vehicle use.
