We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Trade Marketing Manager to own and manage the marketing relationship for one of our key UK&I retail partners – Currys. In this high-impact role, you will lead the trade marketing strategy for the Shark brand and work in partnership with the team overseeing Ninja. You'll bring an integrated marketing mindset, ensuring all retail activities align with broader brand and business objectives. The position is based in our central London office (Hybrid - 3 days a week).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retail Partner Leadership:
    Serve as the primary marketing lead for Currys, owning the relationship and end-to-end planning, execution, and optimisation of retailer marketing initiatives.
  • Brand Leadership:
    Lead trade marketing strategy and execution for the Shark brand, while partnering with the Ninja trade marketing manager.
  • Integrated Marketing & Budget Planning:
    Apply an integrated marketing lens to the planning and execution of Co-op and other marketing budgets to maximise return and alignment across channels.
  • Data-Driven Optimisation:
    Leverage internal data and insights from retailers and third-party vendors to optimise return on ad spend (ROAS) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure trade marketing plans support and enhance commercial targets.
  • Partner with Category Marketing, Brand, Strategy, Sales, and Analytics to ensure alignment with cross-category product launches and brand campaigns.
  • Align trade marketing investments with UKI Media, Social, and PR teams to ensure unified and impactful customer-facing messaging.
  • Global Collaboration:
    Work with Trade Marketing colleagues across international markets to share learnings, best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven ability to plan across multiple categories within a brand portfolio, managing and balancing complex budget allocations.
  • Strong understanding of ROAS and performance marketing metrics.
  • A highly inquisitive mindset with a data-driven approach to problem solving and optimisation.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile environment with the ability to pivot plans quickly.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills – able to tailor narratives to different audiences and influence across functions.
  • A growth-oriented, "explorer" mindset – forward-thinking, innovative, and never complacent.
  • Outcome-focused – prioritising goals over rigid plans and comfortable with changing direction when new insights or challenges emerge.
