THE ROLE

Strathberry is looking for a highly motivated and commercially minded Trade Marketing Executive to support the delivery of impactful retail and wholesale marketing initiatives across global markets, with a particular focus on the US, UK, Japan, and the Middle East.

Reporting into the Global Marketing and Campaigns Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting wholesale marketing globally while driving retail activations and event production to strengthen Strathberry’s presence in key regions. The ideal candidate will have experience in international markets, with a strong understanding of trade and retail marketing strategies that deliver both brand impact and commercial performance.

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Edinburgh. We are currently operating a hybrid working approach with a minimum of 3 fixed days required each week working from our beautiful Townhouse in Edinburgh City Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Wholesale Marketing

  • Support the planning and execution of wholesale marketing activity across global accounts, ensuring consistency with brand direction – this will include digital and physical activations in some of the world’s most prestigious department stores.
  • Coordinate with wholesale partners to maximise visibility during key selling periods, product launches, and events.
  • Monitor and report on wholesale marketing activity, tracking ROI and effectiveness across priority regions (US, UK, Japan, Middle East).
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale partners, acting as a key point of contact for marketing support.
  • Develop tailored marketing toolkits and assets to support the wholesale team to deliver a successful Market.
  • Support the protection of our brand positioning through wholesale partners with the delivery of campaign materials, POS, digital assets, and training resources that represent Strathberry in the strongest way possible.

Retail Marketing & Activations

  • Plan and execute retail marketing campaigns and in-store activations designed to drive footfall and sales.
  • Support the delivery of experiential activations and events, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with retail teams to provide marketing assets, manage timelines, and ensure effective execution at store level.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure integration of retail marketing into wider campaigns.
  • Work with external suppliers and agencies where required to deliver high-quality activations on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report on retail marketing activity, tracking ROI and effectiveness.

Event Production

  • Support the planning and delivery of retail events, wholesale activations, and pop-ups in global markets.
  • Manage event logistics, including suppliers, guest lists, budgets, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with PR, influencer, and VIP teams to ensure events drive maximum brand awareness and press coverage.

General

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure trade and retail marketing initiatives are fully aligned with global brand campaigns.
  • Track budgets and ensure all projects are delivered efficiently.
  • Prepare post-activity reports with learnings and recommendations for future improvement. Support the Global Marketing & Campaigns Manager with any other reasonable tasks as needed within the Marketing team.

ABOUT YOU
To be a star candidate for this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working in trade or retail marketing, ideally within the luxury, fashion, or retail sector.
  • Knowledge of global markets (US, UK, Japan, Middle East would be preferable) and an understanding of how to adapt strategies to different cultural and commercial contexts.
  • Strong organisational skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and with external partners.
  • Commercially minded, with an ability to balance creative execution with business objectives.
  • Hands-on experience in event production and activations.
  • A passion for luxury fashion, with a keen eye for brand storytelling and aesthetics.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
