About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Trade Mark Solicitor to join the firm’s thriving London office. The role will involve managing a variety of trade mark matters, including applications, clearance, prosecution and contentious issues. This position is open to solicitors with a minimum of 2 years PQE up to managing associate level, providing the chance to take on direct client-facing responsibilities and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage trade mark applications, including the preparation and filing of new applications in the UK, EU and internationally
• Oversee and advise on trade mark portfolios, ensuring smooth and efficient prosecution and registration
• Handle clearance searches and develop filing strategies to protect clients’ brands
• Advise on contentious matters, including opposition proceedings, disputes and settlement negotiations
• Manage online brand protection, including domain name disputes, infringements and takedown actions
• Collaborate with international associates and clients to deliver seamless global IP solutions
• Play an active role in sub-teams supporting major clients, helping to prioritise and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
• Provide clear, timely and commercially focused advice that supports clients’ business goals

Your Requirements:

• Qualified as a Solicitor with experience in trade mark law
• Minimum of 2 years PQE, with candidates up to managing associate level also being considered
• Experience managing trade mark portfolios across various industries and for clients of different sizes
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to distil complex issues and relay them clearly and concisely
• A collaborative approach and the confidence to seek guidance when needed
• A commercially focused, proactive attitude with a keen interest in delivering practical legal solutions
