G MASS are partnering with an international bank to recruit a Risk & Collateral Analyst for its Trade Finance control function. The role sits at the interface of clients, credit and operations, requiring a thorough grasp of trade finance instruments and the confidence to push back where needed.

You will track credit line usage, prepare collateral documentation, and ensure correct application of fees and terms. Hybrid working is offered and a permanent contract is available.

Formación

• Experience in risk and collateral management for trade finance.
• Knowledge of letters of credit, guarantees and collections.
• Experience with AML/KYC requirements in banking.
• Strong Excel and data-reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Track credit line usage daily and flag breaches or collateral gaps.
• Prepare credit and utilisation paperwork for sign-off on deals.
• Reconcile trade portfolio; verify fees, pricing and terms.
• Respond to client queries about facilities and headroom.
• Coordinate with operations and internal teams for processing and filing.
• Deliver recurring risk reporting on exposures, breaches, and maturities.
• Support senior colleagues on team initiatives and projects.

G MASS are partnering with an international bank to recruit a Risk & Collateral Analyst into the control function that underpins its Trade Finance business.

Sitting at the point where clients, credit and operations meet, this team keeps the bank’s trade finance book within agreed risk parameters while making sure customers receive a smooth, dependable service. It is a varied role that suits someone who enjoys both the detail of exposure control and the interaction of client-facing work. You will need a thorough grasp of trade finance instruments and the self-assurance to push back firmly, whether the challenge comes from a client or from within the bank.

Responsibilities

• Track credit line usage every day, flagging and escalating breaches or collateral gaps as soon as they arise
• Put together credit and utilisation paperwork for sign-off on new corporate and bank-to-bank deals
• Keep the trade portfolio reconciled, checking that fees, pricing and terms have been applied correctly
• Handle client queries on how their facilities are running and what headroom is available
• Coordinate with operations and other internal teams so deals and documents are processed and filed correctly
• Deliver recurring reporting to management and Risk, covering exposures, valuations, limit breaches and upcoming maturities
• Get involved in team initiatives and wider projects, supporting senior colleagues where needed

• Hands-on knowledge of trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, guarantees and collections
• Familiarity with lending products and credit controls in a banking setting
• Grounding in AML and KYC requirements
• An appreciation of how market and operational risk affect trading clients and individual transactions
• Strong Excel capability
• Clear, confident communicator who builds credibility with colleagues at every level
• Highly organised, self-motivated and composed when deadlines and pressure stack up
