A 12 month FTC contract has arisen within a Trade Finance Operations team at a leading financial institution.

This position focuses on Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs), providing an excellent opportunity for a professional with trade finance experience to deepen their expertise in an area that combines technical precision with client interaction.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a range of guarantee and SBLC transactions from initiation through to settlement.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, responding to queries and providing guidance on specialised or complex cases.
  • Ensuring all documentation and processing complies with global trade standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring clients are regularly updated on progress.
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure a smooth delivery of trade finance services.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen operational controls.
Qualifications
  • Strong background in trade finance, ideally with hands-on experience of guarantees or standby LCs.
  • Familiarity with international trade rules and their practical application.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and confident in managing multiple deadlines.
