Working for an international bank in their London City office, you will join an established trade finance function in a varied role with wide exposure to trade products and services. They are well established in the market and offer their employees a great working experience with opportunities for progression and a comfortable working environment.

Your new role

In this role, you will be a Trade Finance Manager in a dynamic and fast-paced banking environment. You will cultivate and enhance trade finance products that encompass both import and export aspects. The role also involves developing and promoting the bank’s trade finance products to clients in the UK and Asia. Further responsibilities include:
  1. Promoting the products and services offered by the bank to both existing and potential clients.
  2. Engaging in trade finance transactions between banks.
  3. Creating and sustaining trade finance products covering both import and export aspects.
  4. Analyzing trade finance markets and their products.
  5. Delivering training on trade finance products and policies to the Corporate Banking department.
  6. Assessing and evolving policies and procedures related to credit risk.
  7. Staying informed about market trends in the UK and international trade finance markets.
  8. Implementing and maintaining credit risk management controls, systems, and procedures that meet the requirements of the bank, regulators, and external auditors.
  9. Supporting the Head of Corporate Banking and the department in achieving objectives and providing administrative assistance.
  10. Providing management with necessary information regularly and as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. An education is preferred - degree or appropriate professional qualification.
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the trade finance sector.
  3. In-depth knowledge of trade finance products, policies, and sales experience.
  4. Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

What you'll get in return

Salary up to £78,000 (dependent on experience), with a hybrid working environment and a City of London-based office.
