We have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Development Assistant to join our Import Commercial team on our Far East trade lanes. The successful candidate will support the Trade Development Manager to maintain and grow the Trade. Reporting, quoting and analysis make up the main duties within this role along with maintaining databases and research to retain and develop new customers.

Skills and experience you’ll bring to us

  • Previous experience within an Import/Export environment is essential
  • Previous experience of reporting & compiling statistics
  • Ability to maintain high level of customer service under pressure
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Time management skills required
  • Strong telesales and negotiation skills essential
  • Ability to demonstrate a professional manner at all times
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages essential

  • Production of various weekly and monthly reports
