Trade Counter /Assistant Branch Manager (Plumbing & Heating)
Location:Pimlico, London
Salary:£30,000 £35,000 (depending on experience)
Hours:Monday to Friday, 7am5pm | Saturday, 7am1pm

We're hiring on behalf of a brand-new independent merchant opening its first branch in Pimlico. This isnt just another job its a real chance to help grow a business, take ownership of a branch, and progress into Branch Manager and eventually Area Manager as new locations open.

About the Role
Youll be helping to run the day-to-day operations of the new branch, from serving trade customers to managing stock and working closely with suppliers. Youll play a big part in building up a loyal local customer base and making sure the branch runs smoothly and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serving trade customers with excellent product knowledge and customer service
• Managing stock, placing orders, and handling supplier relationships
• Getting to know local tradespeople and building strong working relationships
• Supporting all areas of branch operations from pricing and H&S to customer care
• Taking on more responsibility as the business grows, including full branch leadership

What Were Looking For:

• Experience in a plumbing & heating merchant or supplier (essential)
• Youll know your end feeds from your flexis and be comfortable advising customers
• Hands-on, reliable and self-motivated someone who leads by example
• Experience in a senior trade counter role, ABM or BM position preferred
• Ambitious and looking for a long-term opportunity with real progression
