Role: Trade Counter Assistant
Hours: 44 per week - Permanent role
Salary: £26,000 basic salary per year
Bonus: Realistic total earning potential of up to £30,000 per year

Responsibilities of Our Trade Counter Assistants:

• Work closely with Branch Manager and Supervisor in daily operations
• Achieve sales targets through trade counter sales and product knowledge
• Provide excellent customer service to new and existing customers
• Pick, load, and deliver products using company vehicles
• Route planning, safe driving, and vehicle maintenance
• Support branch activities and ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain branch standards and stock management

Minimum Requirements:

• Passion and energy for customer service and sales
• Customer-focused, confident, and proactive
• Strong organizational skills and initiative
• Proficient in MS Office and industry software (e.g., SAP)
• Full valid driving license; FLT license advantageous
• Experience in stock management, trade/builders merchant environments preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team
