Job summary

Marlin Selection Ltd in London is seeking a Trade Control specialist to investigate discrepancies, process amendments, and ensure changes are reviewed and authorised. You will maintain data in the ETRM system.

The role requires experience in gas, power, and emissions markets, a solid understanding of the trade lifecycle, and strong teamwork to build relationships across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Trade Control environment within energy markets (Gas/Power/Emissions).
• Knowledge of the full trade lifecycle from capture to settlements.
• Able to work cross-functionally and build relationships across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all trades are accurately affirmed, investigating and resolving discrepancies while escalating issues where necessary.
• Collaborate with traders and supporting teams to process trade amendments, ensuring all changes are properly reviewed and authorised.
• Maintain and manage static and reference data within the ETRM system.

Job description

You will need to have the following experience:

• Previous experience within a Trade Control environment, preferably across Gas, Power, and Emissions markets, and/or within Middle Office or Back Office Operations in energy trading.
• Knowledge of the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, amendments, contract management, and settlements.
• Strong team player with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
