Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands…

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Trade Compliance & Data Analyst to join our Hospitality PMO team. This role reviews and validates import HTS classifications and Country of Origin determinations across our global supply chain. The ideal candidate will also generate data-driven insights and compliance reports to support risk management and duty recovery efforts.

As the Trade Compliance and Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring customs compliance and supporting cost efficiency through accurate duty payments. The role reports directly to the VP and Head of PMO – Hospitality and collaborates with Procurement, Legal, Logistics, and external customs advisors.

What You Will Do…
  • Review and classify imported goods using proper HTS codes according to U.S. and international customs regulations.
  • Validate Country of Origin (CoO) based on substantial transformation and other relevant criteria.
  • Analyze large datasets related to imports, tariffs, and vendor activity to identify cost-saving opportunities and compliance risks.
  • Maintain accurate classification records, audit trails, and documentation for Customs inquiries.
  • Coordinate with external customs brokers and internal teams to ensure smooth customs entry processes.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor classification accuracy, import trends, and duty exposure.
  • Assist in creating and implementing SOPs for classification and origin validation.
  • Support other business units with new product HTS and CoO assignments.
  • Contribute to internal trade compliance training and documentation.
  • Help establish duty drawback programs across business areas.
What We Expect of You…

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in trade compliance, customs classification, or import/export operations.
  • Strong knowledge of HTS rules, GRIs, and CoO regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Experience with ERP and trade compliance systems such as SAP, Oracle, AX; commitment to data confidentiality.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proactive, adaptable, detail-oriented, with a focus on data accuracy.

Preferred:

  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Certified Classification Specialist (CCS).
  • Experience with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and duty drawback claims.
  • Knowledge of hospitality or retail industries is a plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization.
