Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking an Import/Export Analyst to support UK and EU trade compliance, ensuring adherence to customs regulations, export controls, and sanctions. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation, not logistics operations.

Reporting to Global Trade Compliance, you will review transactions, classify tariffs, monitor changes, and maintain documentation. A Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business, Law or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, or related regulatory functions.
• Working knowledge of UK and EU customs regulations, export controls and sanctions requirements.
• Experience supporting customs audits, regulatory reviews, and interactions with customs authorities and brokers preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review import and export transactions for compliance with UK, EU, and international trade regulations.
• Support tariff classification, customs valuation, country of origin determinations, and FTAs eligibility assessments.
• Assist with export control classifications, restricted party screening, sanctions compliance, and licensing requirements.
• Conduct compliance reviews and identify corrective actions and risk mitigation opportunities.
• Support customs audits, government inquiries, investigations, and regulatory assessments.
• Monitor customs broker activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Track regulatory changes and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance records, procedures, and documentation to support audit readiness.

Import/Export Analyst (UK & EU)

Department: Global Trade Compliance Location: United Kingdom (Preferred) Position Summary The Import/Export Analyst supports Hyve Solutions' trade compliance program across the United Kingdom and European Union. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations, export controls, sanctions requirements, and company policies while supporting business operations and minimizing regulatory risk. The position serves as a key compliance resource for import and export activities and focuses on regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation rather than logistics or transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review import and export transactions for compliance with UK, EU, and international trade regulations.
• Support tariff classification, customs valuation, country of origin determinations, and free trade agreement eligibility assessments.
• Assist with export control classifications, restricted party screening, sanctions compliance, and licensing requirements.
• Conduct compliance reviews and identify opportunities for corrective actions and risk mitigation.
• Support customs audits, government inquiries, investigations, and regulatory assessments.
• Monitor customs broker activities and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of UK and EU customs regulations, export controls, and sanctions requirements.
• Experience supporting customs audits, regulatory reviews, and interactions with customs authorities and brokers preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

UK Customs Practitioner Certificate Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) Institute of Export & International Trade (IOE&IT) Certification Export Control or other trade compliance-related certifications
