Job summary

Derby City Council is seeking a Tractor Driver/Gardener to operate tractors and perform general and skilled horticultural work across the grounds maintenance service from Stores Road depot. The role involves early starts and adherence to health & safety standards.

You must hold a full manual car licence, have substantial tractor experience, and be committed to delivering high-quality customer service; CE HGV training may be gained during probation.

Qualifications

• Full manual car driving licence; able to drive up to 3.5 tonne vehicles.
• Substantial experience in occupational tractor driving and use of implements.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Equality Act 2010.
