Role: Tractor Driver

Brand: Landscape Services

Salary: £30,785.23 (39 hours per week)

Location: Tonbridge

Landscape Services is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Tractor Driver to join our dedicated Grounds Maintenance team. This is a key role supporting various sites by operating tractors and mounted implements to ensure high standards of service delivery.

We are looking for someone with solid operational experience in tractor driving, a strong understanding of health and safety practices, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors, take ownership of equipment, and contribute to maintaining high-quality landscapes for our clients.

A current, clean driving licence and a full DBS check (provided by the Company) are required for this role.

Key Duties:

  • Operate tractors and mounted equipment to complete grounds maintenance to a high standard
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to manufacturer specifications, ensuring safety and functionality
  • Plan and request materials and resources, complying with chemical legislation
  • Complete paperwork, site inspections, health and safety checks, and vehicle documentation
  • Organise and deliver work efficiently, considering site conditions and safety
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment, reporting incidents or near misses
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent Landscape Services professionally
  • Respond to seasonal or emergency works such as snow clearance and flooding
  • Use company IT systems for logging activities and reporting

What we need from you:

  • Experience operating tractors and mounted implements
  • Understanding of machinery maintenance and health & safety
  • Experience in grounds maintenance (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload, including administrative tasks
  • Comfortable working alone and in flexible environments
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • PA1/PA6 certification (desirable)
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent (desirable)
