Tractor Driver / General Farmworker - The Job Role Details:
As a Tractor Driver / General Farmworker, you will be involved in a wide variety of farm operations throughout the year. From drilling and cultivating to harvesting and livestock work, you'll be an integral part of daily farm activity, with a focus on machinery operation and supporting both arable and horticultural tasks.

Tractor Driver / General Farmworker - Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a range of modern farm machinery including tractors, cultivators, drills, and trailers
* Support arable operations including drilling, fertilising, and harvesting
* Assist with the cultivation and harvest of crops
* Supervision of farmworkers where required

• Carry out general farm maintenance such as fencing, buildings, and drainage

Tractor Driver / General Farmworker - Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have/be:
* Proven experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery
* Good understanding of arable farming operations and crop husbandry
* Physically fit and willing to undertake varied manual tasks
* A reliable team player with the ability to work independently
* Flexible to work longer hours during peak seasons (e.g., harvest, vegetable/fruit seasons)
* A full UK driving licence is essential

Desirable (Not Essential):
* Telehandler or forklift licence
* PA1/PA2 spraying certificates
* Livestock handling experience
* Basic mechanical knowledge for machinery upkeep
