Overview

2025 sees MoneyGram Haas F1 Team celebrate its tenth season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. We’re here to challenge the competition and welcome you to join us. The first American Formula 1 team to compete since 1986, Haas F1 Team made a memorable points-scoring debut in 2016. Nine years later, the team continues to grow with its future objectives and a strong season to date. We are a racing team – not a corporate machine – with three HQs: Kannapolis (US), Banbury (UK) and Maranello (Italy). General Summary

This position reports to the Sea Freight Manager when based at the Banbury UK Factory and to the Trackside Operations Manager when working trackside. The role is responsible for the overall management of the build, setup, and quality of the trackside infrastructure, ensuring safe and smooth operation until handing over to the Trackside Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
  • Support the Sea Freight Manager in the maintenance and upkeep of the sea freight sets when at the Factory.
  • Support the Race Team Operations Manager on garage build plans, their planning, and adherence trackside during builds.
  • Oversee the performance of the Garage and Infrastructure teams, ensuring targets, milestones and build quality are achieved trackside.
  • Ensure the infrastructure is built consistently at each event and to the standard required by Haas F1 Team.
  • Report any issues or faults during the build via existing processes to the Sea Freight Manager to trigger replacement parts, next-build work, or improvements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all equipment, tools, and workspaces.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager at location or their designee.
Education And Work Experience

GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required. Ideally with experience in leading teams and in insulation and mechanical projects with equipment repairs. Work experience in a professional motorsport environment or other high-pressured industry or within the F1 paddock is preferred but not essential.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

Ability to work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment with a methodical approach. The role may require extensive domestic and international travel and long, flexible hours including weekends. May require lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent bending and manual dexterity. The work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must comply with the Company Health and Safety Policy and applicable health and safety laws.
