Job summary

Steven Eagell Group in the UK is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair vehicles to Toyota GB standards. You will diagnose faults, report defects for MOT and VSR, and work with a busy team in a customer‑facing role.

There is a strong emphasis on training, safety and teamwork, with progression opportunities across our automotive network. A permanent, full‑time position within a renowned Toyota/Lexus retailer awaits.

Qualifications

• Qualified as Level 2 Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician.
• Minimum 2 years experience in automotive industry.
• MOT Tester qualification preferred.
• Confident communicator and quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Toyota GB standards.
• Inspect vehicles and diagnose faults, including non‑routine issues.
• Identify and report defects per MOT and VSR requirements.
• Complete work within the allocated time with high productivity.
• Take responsibility for tools and workshop equipment; report defects.
• Follow Toyota Centre processes and work safely at all times.
• Communicate with customers and explain work clearly.
• Support apprentice technicians and participate in training.
