Job Introduction

Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join our Toyota dealership in Stratford-upon-Avon. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with Saturdays on a rota basis.

Our packages and pay plans are industry-leading and reflect each applicant's experience and skillset.

Basic Salary up to £43,000 with OTE up to £50,000 plus benefits.

Role and Responsibilities

• Servicing, repair, and diagnostics of all vehicles, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard first time.
• Electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
• Additional responsibilities include repairs on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motor, auxiliary drive pack & control systems.
• Fitting manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
• Understanding Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
• Operating systems like video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).
• Completing all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Collaborating with the workshop team to learn and share knowledge.

About you

• Candidates from all backgrounds with experience as Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician are welcome.
• Experience in independent garages, fast fit centres, car supermarkets, or main dealerships is suitable.
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; full or in-progress.
• Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualifications are advantageous but not essential; training provided.
• MOT License is beneficial but not essential.
• Full UK Driving license.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with high standards of work quality.
