Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Service Advisor to join our Toyota Dealership in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The role is initially available on a maternity cover contract for 12 months, but may lead to a more permanent role within Listers.

The hours of work are Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 18:00, with Saturdays on a rota basis.

Excellent basic salary plus benefits with a bonus OTE of £33,000.

You will be well versed in delivering high levels of customer satisfaction in a busy environment. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for ensuring the workflow of the department, hitting and exceeding targets, and upselling our full range of services.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Booking customer vehicles in for maintenance and repairs, liaising with the workshop team to schedule workload.
  • Meeting customers on arrival and providing a seamless service from drop-off to vehicle handover.
  • Updating customers on progress, authorising additional work, and making follow-up calls.
  • Liaising with the Workshop, Parts, and Sales departments to ensure vehicles are ready on time.

About you

  • Passion to deliver excellent customer service and ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Well-presented with a desire, attitude, and character to succeed.
  • Experience in a customer service role, ideally with sales targets.
  • Good organization and administrative skills; knowledge of dealer management systems is an advantage but not essential.
  • Motor trade or automotive experience is preferred but not essential; full training provided.
