Job summary

TAGGED RESOURCES is seeking a QA professional to join our quality team in Manchester. You will help ensure that every product meets safety, quality, performance and regulatory standards throughout development and production.

You will collaborate with UK design, buying and project teams and manufacturing partners overseas to drive quality from concept to delivery, conducting inspections and coordinating testing with third-party labs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in toy QA or consumer products.
• Strong knowledge of toy safety and testing requirements.
• Experience with overseas factories and suppliers.
• Experience reviewing laboratory test reports and compliance docs.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to identify quality and safety issues early in product development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Confidence to challenge suppliers when quality or compliance standards are not met.
• Ability to manage multiple products and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA activities throughout development and manufacturing.
• Review specifications, samples, artwork, packaging and technical documentation.
• Ensure products comply with UK/EU/US and international toy safety requirements.
• Coordinate product testing with approved third-party laboratories.
• Review test reports and identify compliance gaps.
• Work closely with factories and suppliers to ensure quality standards.
• Conduct pre-production, inline and final inspections.
• Identify product defects and work with suppliers to establish root causes and corrective actions.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions through to closure.
• Maintain QA records, product files, inspection reports and compliance documentation.
• Support development team with quality and safety considerations during design stage.
• Communicate quality issues clearly to internal teams and overseas suppliers.
