  • Bonus: £4,000 - £5,000 (5% of feesearned after achieving certain targets)
  • Leave: 25 days annual leave + Christmas& New Year shutdown (additional 3 days)


About Us: Our client are established planning consultants based in Leedswith offices in Manchester, London, and Liverpool. They provide expert planningservices across a variety of sectors including commercial, industrial,residential, and strategic land development. Their team in Leeds consists of 8dedicated professionals, and they are looking to expand to 10 members toaccommodate the growing workload.

Job Description: They are seeking a motivated TownPlanner and a Senior Town Planner to join their dynamic team. The successfulcandidates will work on a diverse range of projects, from commercialdevelopments with clients like Henry Boot Developments and CEG, to electricalvehicle infrastructure for companies such as Gridserve and BP Pulse, and industrialprojects with Jewson and Travis Perkins. Additionally, you will handleresidential work with developers such as Gleeson Homes, Strata Homes, MillerHomes, and Bellway, along with smaller scale projects like green beltdevelopments, barn conversions, and heritage work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manageand deliver planning applications and appeals
  • Liaisewith clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
  • Conductsite appraisals and planning policy research
  • Prepareplanning statements, design & access statements, and other relateddocuments
  • Attendand present at planning committee meetings
  • Provideexpert advice on planning and development matters

Requirements:

  • 2-5years of planning experience in the public or private sector
  • Membershipof the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) or working towards it
  • Strongknowledge of UK planning legislation and policy
  • Excellentcommunication and negotiation skills
  • Abilityto manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Motivatedteam player with a proactive approach to work
