We seek applications from commercially aware, driven Planners to secure new planning permissions for activities on existing sites and new development projects.

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare planning applications for various developments on existing sites, aiming to minimize onerous planning conditions and agreements.
• Engage with stakeholders, including Local Planning Authorities, Council Members, and Statutory Consultees, to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
• Provide planning advice to internal teams such as site management and commercial departments regarding existing sites.
• Support the Principal Planner in advising on planning aspects of new development projects.
• Monitor third-party and competitor proposals and applications, providing impact assessments relevant to the business.
• Track local development plans and identify key opportunities for engagement and influence.

Candidate Requirements:

• Post-qualification professional planning experience in Waste, Anaerobic Digestion, and/or Renewable Energy sectors, or a strong interest in renewables.
• MRTPI certification or eligibility for full chartership.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
