Town Planner - Wareham, Dorset

We're working on behalf of a highly respected town planning consultancy to recruit a Town Planner for their growing team based near Wareham, Dorset. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated planning professional to join a supportive and collaborative environment where your development is a key priority.

About the Company

This independent consultancy provides expert advice across all aspects of the planning system. From securing planning permission and leading appeals to masterplanning and strategic land promotion, they work on a wide range of projects - both large and small - across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Town Planner, you'll work closely with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to deliver effective planning solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals

Undertaking site appraisals and development assessments

*

Contributing to strategic land promotion and Local Plan representations

*

Assisting with masterplanning and design input

*

Supporting public consultations and community engagement

*

Coordinating with external consultants and project teams

This is a varied role offering exposure to a broad spectrum of projects across the South of England.
