Location: Cambridge (Hybrid Working)

Are you an ambitious Town Planner ready to progress your career - or an experienced Senior Planner looking for a fresh challenge? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading planning consultancy that is expanding its team in Cambridge and looking to hire at both Planner and Senior Planner level.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality planning advice, managing applications, and contributing to successful outcomes for a diverse client base. Whether you are earlier in your career or bringing more senior experience, there is scope to shape your role based on your strengths and interests.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and managing planning applications, appeals and development strategies

Conducting site appraisals and policy research

*

Engaging with stakeholders, local authorities and clients

*

Supporting or leading project teams on a wide range of planning projects

*

Mentoring junior staff (for Senior Planner applicants)

About You

*

RTPI-accredited degree or equivalent in Town Planning or related field

*

RTPI membership or working towards chartered status

*

Demonstrable experience in a planning consultancy or local authority

*

Strong report writing and communication skills

*

Commercial awareness and a proactive, collaborative attitude

For Senior Planner applicants, experience managing projects and mentoring junior staff will be advantageous.
