Town Planner - Gatwick Office

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and fun team, tackling a diverse range of projects? From 2,000-unit residential schemes to new dwellings in the Green Belt and commercial premises in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), this role offers a dynamic workload that will challenge and develop your skills.

With offices in Gatwick, Kent, and London, the company provides expert planning and development consultancy services across a range of sectors. Their expertise extends beyond planning to include:

  1. Pavement & Highways Licences
  2. Public Rights of Way
  3. Transport & Infrastructure
  4. Environmental Impact Assessment
  5. Flood Risk & Drainage
  6. Masterplanning & Design
  7. Land & Site Promotion
  8. Development Viability & Economics
  9. GIS & Referencing
The Role

The successful candidate will:

  1. Play a key role in managing and supporting a variety of projects.
  2. Liaise with clients, local authorities, and external consultants.
  3. Lead smaller projects from inception to completion.
  4. Attend client meetings and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
  5. Provide essential support for larger schemes.
Requirements

A good all-round knowledge of the UK planning system and local government processes.

  1. 1-2 years of experience in the planning industry.
  2. Experience in Local Authorities is preferable.
  3. Working towards MRTPI qualification.
  4. A full UK driving licence.
