Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Town Planner for a well-established planning-led practice in Cornwall. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering residential, commercial and tourism projects with varied workload and client interaction.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in planning, a planning degree or equivalent, and strong communication skills. RTPI membership is desirable but not essential; support for chartership is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or postgraduate degree in planning or related field.
• At least 2 years of planning experience in a professional setting.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities are essential.
• Willingness to work toward RTPI chartership encouraged and supported.

Responsibilities

• Work on a varied range of planning projects including residential development and commercial schemes.
• Collaborate with planners, architects and other stakeholders from concept to approval.
• Prepare applications, liaise with clients, authorities and consultees.
