Town Planner Job in Leeds, Yorkshire

New opening for a Town Planner job in Leeds with an established and national retirement living provider, looking to expand their team as the business moves forward in their next stage of growth. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of industry experience from either local authority or consultancy and be on track to achieve MRTPI status. The role is offering circa £30,000 - £45,000 plus bonus potential, 25 days annual leave, gym, and more!

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the wider team and carry out site appraisal and evaluations
  • Meet with stakeholders and planning officers
  • Support with planning applications (preparing reports, statements and submissions)
  • Liaise with the wider teams across land, construction and technical.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in Town Planning or similar
  • Prior experience working in a local authority or private consultancy
  • Knowledge of the full planning process
  • Full UK Driving Licence and car.
