Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting an experienced Infrastructure Planner to support sustainable development and infrastructure planning across the North West. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite weekly at Lingley Mere, Warrington, and 37 hours per week.

You will influence development projects, planning policy and long-term infrastructure investment, ensuring water and wastewater needs for local communities are met.

Qualifications

• Commercially aware planning professional with strong technical knowledge.
• Experience in town planning, infrastructure, utilities or development management.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policy and processes.
• Experience with local plans, major planning applications or strategic infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Understanding of environmental planning, sustainability and infrastructure requirements.
• Degree in Town Planning or equivalent relevant experience.
• RTPI or RICS membership, or willingness to work towards it.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility for occasional travel.
• Experience in water, wastewater, energy, transport or regulated infrastructure sectors advantageous.

About the Role

Carrington West are working with a client to recruit an experienced Infrastructure Planner to support sustainable development and infrastructure planning across the North West. You will help ensure future growth is supported by the water and wastewater infrastructure required by local communities.
