Overview

Town Planner - Private Sector
Location: Ashford, Kent (Office-Based)
Salary: Up to £38,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-Time

We are seeking a motivated Town Planner with 1–2 years of experience to join a growing private planning consultancy based in Ashford, Kent. The successful candidate will develop their career within a supportive team and contribute to a variety of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Work on a wide range of projects, including Domestic planning applications, Change of use projects, Residential schemes, Planning appeals, Listed buildings, and Section 106 agreements.
Requirements
  • 1–2 years' experience in a planning role (private sector preferred but not essential).
  • Ideally some experience with rural or countryside projects.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning regulations and processes.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • MRTPI (or working towards).
